Adventure Island at The Centre of Elgin

Swimming lessons here! the pool is generally clean and the staff are always very friendly. The locker rooms are very standard; typical of public utility swimming pools. The Adventure Island of the pool is great for kids.

Overall, it was a good experience. I would say it’s a fun place to take young kids. The water was nice and warm, and the zero depth entry was nice. We also went on a Sunday afternoon, and it didn’t feel crowded at all; even with a birthday party going on. Unfortunately they only have 1 slide suitable for a toddler, but it was wrapped with caution tape and a cone, like it had to undergo some kind of major restoration. The facility, pool and lounging area was clean, but the family restrooms/changing rooms were awful. Urine and toilet paper all over the floor. I checked three different changing areas and I wasn’t comfortable changing my 20 month old daughter in any of them. All in all, my daughter did have a fun time splashing around and playing in some of the water features. In the future I will likely find a different indoor water park to explore.

it was fun, had very reasonable prices and the staff members are very nice and kind, fun place for kids or good swimmers since the leisure pool goes from 5 feet to maybe 7 or 8 feet deep, they also have a gym and some other amenities in the same building although you need to pay separately for every single activity but like I mentioned before, prices are very accessible. I gave it 4 stars only because they don't have a hot tub, but other than that, it's a really fun place to visit.

We just had my daughter's birthday party there 7/13 and everyone had a great time! This is the only place we were able to invite 20 friends! Thank you to Emily who helped us with our party! We will definitely be back!

my son was born on june 8, 2021. and last month we came there and i told my son still 2 years old. well literally he is still 2 years old, not even jun 8, 2024 yet. as what we know 2 years old still free for swimming. but after i got home and checked my account suddenly showing they charged my son as 2 years old and that’s mean we paid for 2 person. are you trying to scammed me? you guys better check your account every time come there, because 2 years old and residents should not paying!!! new updated on 06/05. the guy responded to my comments such a liar. i send them email already but there’s no response. so if you guys write comments and they responded to your comment and act like wanna fix the problem that’s nonsense. check the picture, the proof i send them email. i even told him the date when i went there.
